  • Mercury Marina - starting a Berth Holders Association

    Calling everyone moored at Mercury
The latest challenge to our 'home' is MDL deciding without any notice that they are shutting down all boatyard services from the end of September
This comes on the back of the loss of our chandlery
The farse over the restaurant over a number of years
    The ongoing lack of maintenance
They are spinning a line that Mercury is becoming a Leisure Hub
If you want your voice heard then please contact me to join the Berth Holders Association

Hiya Jon, Mercury Berth holders will have a dedicated area at HPM and a better service due to the move. Chandlerys like many retail operations, are having to move their business online as they do not get the business off line they used to. We are in conversations with Force 4 about a click and collect type option at the marina. Most customers order direct with them online. The restaurant is in great shape and has been for a while now so do hope you are enjoying it. The expansion of leisure facilities at Mercury will be a great addition to the Marina, theres some exciting developments happening over the next year or 2. We are looking forward to discussions with any BHA that is set up. There will be invites to antoher berth holders foum in the next couple of weeks (digitally at the moment) so look out for the invite.
